| I could go on and on about how Maureen is the best Real Estate agent in all of Delaware County but I doubt that would do her justice. When we met Maureen, it was 2002 and we were looking to buy our first home. Maureen represented the Lansdowne sellers and we were the eager buyers. She was knowledgeable and helpful (more so than the realtor representing us!) with all facets of the property we were buying. When it came time to buy a new house for our growing family, it was a no brainer. Maureen was our first call! For first time sellers in a market that has been dicey of late, it was a scary prospect, selling our home. Maureen really made it easy for us. She was there every step of the way with great and timely advice on that we needed to do to get our house sold quickly and for a great price! She knew what the market would allow, and when needed, she talked us off the ledge. Maureen also helped us with a tough negotiation when buying our new dream house. She was firm and held her ground when she needed to and helped us get a great (and fair) price! In summation, there is no one else we would ever use in buying or selling ever again. | What can I say about Maureen? Anytime I mentioned Maureen's name, everyone I talked to would say "oh, the lady on the billboard!" Ha ha... Truth be told, I never saw the billboard; I actually ended up connecting with Maureen through a google search for local realtors and was impressed with the experience she presented on her website. When I met with her, that experience showed! She answered all of my questions (and I had a lot of them) and made me feel like this was someone who would be able to get me through my first home buying experience with flying colors. That journey lasted about a year (God bless her patience). I would estimate we saw 30 houses, put in 2 offers, had one accepted, had to walk away from that accepted offer, put in a third offer and finally landed my first home! Throughout this whirlwind roller coaster ride, there were ups and downs. Being a first time homebuyer, I walked a fine line between thinking I knew about real estate (thanks to HGTV of course) and being frustrated with how little I actually did know. Maureen and I didn't always see eye to eye on my choices, but ultimately she always let me know that she was in my corner. And when the time for negotiating really came due, Maureen stood up for me and what I wanted/needed more than anyone else would have. She worked hard to get me what I asked for, and saw the deal through to the end. Settlement was a breeze! And even after I moved in, when I encountered my first plumbing issue (aka, my washing machine started shooting water everywhere) she took the time to talk to me at 11pm and help me figure out how to fix it. She gave me the name of her plumber, told me what to ask them, and saved me a fortune! That's another great thing about Maureen - her network of people is top notch! Joe Randazzo does a great home inspection...Meghan Kileen is the best mortgage person I could ever dream of working with. The fact that Maureen has people like this working with her proved to me that she was at the top of her game! Her reputation proceeds her for a reason...because she's great at what she does! I would use her again in the future (and hope to if she's still working when I'm ready to upgrade), and would recommend her to any first time home buyer out there (well, all home buyers really). She is a good person who works hard and that in itself goes a long way with me. |
